Precautions for using balance film, backing film, and smoke-proof film

Before entering the composite roller, the three films must be preheated and softened using infrared lamps. The distance between the film and the infrared lamps should not be too far, ensuring sufficient energy to improve problems with air bubbles and adhesion strength during lamination.

All three films have inner and outer coatings with different properties. Please check the label before use to avoid errors.

The backing film is not recommended or suitable for standalone use. It is best used with the balancing film and anti-smoke/scalding film to form a sandwich structure, specifically designed for high-end products.

The balancing film can be embedded in the middle of a thicker core material or a thicker wear-resistant layer to reduce the shrinkage rate of the core material and the wear-resistant layer. It plays a leveling role in the entire sheet. Suitable for hydraulic products.

Using these three films changes the traditional method, eliminating the need to match low-density base materials, simplifying the process and increasing product yield. Different wear-resistant layer thicknesses and sheet thicknesses can be matched with suitable films. Manufacturers should conduct compatibility tests in advance based on their material properties.

Because these three films are thin, when using the balancing film and backing film in traditional hydraulic processes, they can be pre-laminated onto the substrate during the core material pulling process to avoid affecting the efficiency of the material laying workers.
